Stephen recounts the story behind these beautiful lake family photos: "I photographed these wonderful families just before the 4th of July Holiday at Lake Norman. I had a blast working with this crew from the East Coast, ranging from New York and Delaware. The families include the Hogans, Libuses and the Smiths. I was invited to come up to the house to photograph the family. It was a special occasion: Maureen Smith and her twin sister, Kim Libus' 50th birthday. It was a big celebration with everyone in attendance. This was the first time they had all been together in 10 years. I love capturing memories that families will cherish for years to come!" FAMILY FESTIVITIES
Stephen and part of his family spent some time this summer on the Nantahala River. They figured out along the way that this was Stephen's 37th year visiting the river and 14th year with the kids!
They tent camped at Turkey Creek Camp Ground for three nights and ran the river two times.
Stephen said, "Great family Tradition! Creating life long memories for my kids is high on my list."
