Calling all Class of 2023 Seniors!
Spring is almost here. Soon the flowers will be in bloom and the days will be longer. This is the best time of year for outdoor portraits. Your senior will be leaving for college soon. We only have 18 Christmases with them before they are off and running. Don’t waist this opportunity. LIVE, LOVE AND GIVE
Stephen has some exciting news to share. As most of you know, Stephen has been on the Diocese Special Needs Committee for 12 years and served on the Diocese School Board for 6 of those years. During these last 12 years, Stephen along with many talented teachers and administrators have shaped what is now called the "Options Program" in five of our Catholic Schools here in Charlotte. Inclusion in our schools simply means kids have the same opportunities to discover their talents. Inclusion Rocks Foundation is being created to provide funds in the form of grants to schools who want to grow inclusion programs in our Catholic, private and public schools. His long term goal is to have every school capable of providing Inclusions Programs to teach our children life skills they will need to seek meaningful employment following the school years. It’s time to bring back vocational skills in our schools and train students for life. These programs require talented teachers and life skills rooms and materials to help train our students. I hope to provide funding that will help hire and keep these talented people teaching our angles. Inclusion Rocks Foundation's goal is to have our nonprofit status by the first of summer. Our primary fundraising efforts will come from hosting rock concerts and our first one is slated for July 2023. We are working on our logo/branding and website now. It takes an army for change. If you have a passion for inclusion and want to get involved, we would love your support! If you would like to donate resources of time or money, please contact Stephen directly: 704-502-7368. “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” Nelson Mandela “I alone can not change the world, but I can cast a stone across the water to create many ripples.” Mother Teresa "You have a responsibility to make inclusion a daily thought, we can get rid of the word Inclusion." SPRING 2023: DEY MERRIMENTS
We started off the New year with a cruise, thanks to Liz Hanus! We had a blast traveling as a family to the Bahamas. Avery really enjoyed the "Green Eggs and Ham Breakfast ''with "Cat In the Hat" and friends. I couldn't help but share a few more photos from our January adventure!
February was an exciting month for the Dey Family as well. Christopher De ( my oldest nephew) tied the knot to his love, Kelly. The hosted a beautiful black-tie ceremony in Pennsylvania on Feb 18, 2023. Here are a few images of the family and some fun, enjoy!
Best,
Stephen Dey
