Artist, Master Photographer, and Certified Professional Photographer, Stephen B. Dey began his journey in photography when he was a student at Charlotte Catholic High School. Following high school, Stephen continued to study the technical and artistic aspects of photography at RCC, where he graduated in 1987. Charlotte Images was created on March 1st, 1989. Stephen continued his education over the years and received his professional photographers certifications in 2001 and received his master of photography title from the professional photographers of America in 2004. In 2001, Stephen opened his second studio, Memory Lane Portraits, on Hilton Head Island. This past year, Stephen sold Memory Lane Portraits and is unveiling a new eponymous brand, Stephen Dey Signature Portraits. Stephen Dey Signature Portraits delivers passionate, positive and professional artistry for your family. Having been in the business for more than 35 years, he continues to refine and help define what each individual or family is seeking in a portrait session or collaborative project. Stephen shares, "I enjoy inspiring families with unparalleled storytelling showing the world where love begins, home! I am also continually inspired by the families I have met over the years, and continue to work with; I am grateful to know each and every one of you. My main areas of focus with my new brand will be: Family Portraits, Vacation Portraits and Senior Portraits. I am passionate about family life, recording the moments, and creating portraits that will be cherished by generations to come." FAMILY FESTIVITIES
Stephen and his daughter, Avery, last week at their "Daddy / Daughter Dinner Date" celebrating Avery's birthday! Avery just turned 15 and will be moving on to Charlotte Catholic High School and the new Options program next year. They had an enjoyable evening at Maggiano’s with great service and delicious food. Avery also enjoyed a little window shopping at South Park.
